Shri Tirupati Balaji Temple is the best tourist places in Kurukshetra. The temple is dedicated to Venkateswara swami, lord Narayan’s form. It is said that they appeared on Earth to protect humanity. Venkateswara is known by many other names Govinda, Srinivasa, Balaji. The Temple is located opposite Multi Art Cultural Centre Kurukshetra. The temple is the main attraction of the devotees. Devotees experience extreme peace by coming to this temple.
On the lines of Andhra Pradesh, Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy Tirupati Balaji Temple has been built in Kurukshetra, Now devotees of North India do not need to go to Andhra Pradesh. This temple is Spread over 5.52 acres and built for Rs 35 crores, this temple is the biggest in North India. The specialty of this temple made of 1500 tons of stone is that the stone used in it has also been brought from Andhra Pradesh. The idol of Lord Venkateswara is beautiful, which attracts devotees to it. People visit this temple because of its distinctive style and architecture. The temple was inaugurated by Cheif Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar on July 2 2021 so that devotees from north India would not required to go to Andra Pradesh to offer puja to lord Venkateswara.
Timings:-
The temple is open from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Aarti time:-
In Morning(7:00-7:30 AM and 11:00-11:30 AM)
In the Evening(6:00-6:30 PM)
Devotees can participate in these aarti ceremonies.
How to reach:-
- The Nearest Railway station is Kurukshetra Junction, about 3 km from our destination.
- There are 2 bus stands in Kurukshetra 1. Old Bus Stand 2. New bus stand After getting off from bus take an E-Rickshaw to Tirupati Balaji Temple
