Maa Bhadarkali Temple is one of the 51 Shaktipeethas found in India. It is also known as Savitri, peeth, Devikoop, and Kalika Peeth. This temple is dedicated to Mata Sati, it is believed that the right ankle of Mata Sati fell in a well of Kurukshetra after which it became a worship place by devotees.
